* This was the 12th show Metallica has played in the Salt Lake City area. The first time they played in Salt Lake City was on May 17, 1986 at the Salt Palace Arena while opening for Ozzy Osbourne on the Master of Puppets tour.

* The last time Metallica performed in the SLC area was on January 25, 2006 at Harry O’s, in Park City, during the Sundance Film Festival.  They were promoting the movie The Darwin Awards, which they appear in.

* This was the first time in 14 years that Disposable Heroes was performed in Utah. It was last performed here on July 29, 1994 in Park City at Park West. 

* This was the first time that Die, Die My Darling was performed in Salt Lake City.
